* 4th CARMONA DAY FOUNDATION BIKE CHALLENGE VARIOUS local cycling clubs has been invited to participate in the organized race/ cycling event prepared by Road Bikers of Carmona ( ROBIC )in the 6 different categories as the proposed 4th Carmona Day Foundation Bike Challenge set February 21, 2015. In a meeting held yesterday at the Municipality of Carmona, hon Mayor Dahlia Loyola , approved the holding of the 4th Carmona Day Foundation Bike Challenge,among the ROBIC officers present were Pastor Fermin Espino,Chairman; Bing Orfano, president, Carlito de Leon, vice; and Rollie Palomuque. Also present in the meeting is Rev fr Jovargas Vergara of the Helping Hand Foundation, Our objective here is to give a necessary assistance to the Cancer patient, some scholarship and the Yolanda victim survivors, Rev fr Vergara said. The 5 categories are; 1. Open ;2. Women -open ; 3, 18 years old and above; 4.CARSIGMA Residence and 5. MTB category. Bing Orfano president of the organizing ROBIC said reel off is February 21, Saturday. Former member of the national team, tour champions, or trade teams is not permitted to join in the competition, to give every body an equal change of playing field. Bing Orfano added. A total of P 15,000 is at stake for the 5 category competition, for the event it is expected to have at least 30 participants from the different school, colleges and university in Cavite and Laguna. We want to discover and develop new breed of champions , that would come from Carmona Mayor Dahlia Loyola said. The event is supported by Hon. Cong & Mayor Roy and Dahlia Loyola , Office of the City Sport Development, the City Council,CARTMO, PNP Traffic Management Group, City Health Office and GSO Red Cross and the Helping Hand Foundation.
