#5 HANDY HOW TO GUIDES It is with a heavy heart that I say I loved this one. This, in fact, was the only bit this year I was not on set for and might prove my irrelevance. But, c’mon, this was the week John Berardi and Kelly DiStefano got married, so I wasn’t going to miss that shit for anything. Representing me on set were Steve Murphy and Peter Meadows, who wrote for the segments all year long, and deserve as much praise and scorn as I do. In fact, though I wrote a chunk of this, my favorite joke came from those two knuckle heads. It occurs when Riggle transitions into his picks… “Paula, straight up now tell me…” This bit as a whole is what we call in the business a joke bag… This bit may contain the most jokes per two minute period of the year, and David Koechner and Rob are just great together.
