[ +50 NEWS ] Dear Folks, first off a happy happy new year to all of you! It has been a while since we had a +50 pitching session, we have been busy. We have one on Thursday, and another on Feb 7th, at *SCAPE, a new program partner which has kindly given us space to conduct the sessions. While the pitching sessions have been useful in reaching new photographers, we also think that there must be other ways for us to include photographers we really want to work with. Some of them had pitched and were not selected, or they have not and will not pitch. To try to make sure we dont miss out on good people, we have decided to co-opt a few more photographers we have long admired. This illustrious list of names came from past jurors as well as Darren and I. Just want to clarify: we are not desperate to fill the slots (at least not yet) but we think there must be more than one way to be inclusive. With the new photographers, we still have more than 20 slots open and we hope to fill as many of them as possible through open pitches. Please join us in welcoming the following to the +50 family!
