#5283 I decided to get a Nintendo 3DS over the break so I could buy and play the new remakes of ruby and sapphire, two of my favorite Pokemon games. I had not played a Pokemon game in a few years (not since Pokemon Black) and thought I would be a little rusty when I first started playing. I was not. After migrating all the pokemon I had from Pokemon black to Omega Ruby, I immediately tried the feature of battling trainers online (which I did not do in the previous game). Using pokemon I had saved from the original Sapphire, Fire Red, Pearl and Soul Silver I mopped the floor with my opponents. It was amazing! After all these years, I still remember the strategies and individual teams I used! I battled for a hour on New Years Day and went about 14-3 (Each time I lost, I fell to a ridiculously strong Klefki, which I had no idea was when I was battling it). In a few of those matches, I did not even have to use my full team. I even battled some friends over the break and did not lose once. It was wonderful and I totally fell in love with Pokemon again after not playing for awhile. With all this, I believe my team would beat any other on campus handily and I would definitely win a tournament if we had one!
