(53) YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE BODY OF CHRIST ACROSS AMERICA: Bishop Curtis A. Timmons grew up at the historic Mc McGlothen Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Bishop G.W. Mc Glothen and his successor the late Bishop Clarence Davis. I was saved and filled with Holy Ghost at the tender age of (10) during a revival conducted by the late Bishop Cornelius N. Rucker of K.C., Mo. Bishop was called into the Gospel Ministry at (12) and was Licensed as a Minister of the Gospel at (14) by the late Bishop Clarence Davis. I was Ordained into the Gospel Ministry at (19) by the late Bishop C.C. Cox of Las Vegas. At age (35) in Omaha, Nebraska I was Duly Consecrated as a Bishop in the Lords Church with the full Rite of Apostolic Succession under the leadership of the late Bishop R.T. Jones, Sr. of Phila, Pa. I served under the late Bishop Isaac Finley of Oakland, Ca. as founding President of COGIC California North Central State Evangelist Department and as a District Superintendent. and President of the State Ordination Board of COGIC Central Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Missouri under the late Bishop Cornelius N. Rucker. I have been honored to serve the Body of Christ for many years as a Pastor in the cities of Oakland, Ca., Pittsburg & Antioch, Ca., Sacramento, Ca., Omaha, Nebraska and Las Vegas, Nevada. As I look back over (53) of years of Ministry I Praise God for the numerous thousands of souls that have come to Christ under our ministry. I have blessed with many Spiritual Sons and Daughters in the Gospel all across America. Bishop have been blessed to conduct thousands of revivals, crusades and seminars all across the United States. Bishop Curtis A. Timmons and my lovely wife of (46) years Lady Jo Yvonne Timmons are blessed and honored to continue to serve the Body of Christ here in City of Las Vegas, Nevada as Pastor of The Joy Of Life Christian Cathedral.
