#62 We went back home Lee-roy: go and get mosa ll be in the car Me: ok I got out of the car and went to the house Me: mom Mom: yes dear Me: lee-roy wants us to move back in with him Mom: what about the new house? Me: we are moving in next week Mom: ok, your granny called she wants you to visit her You and mosa Me: thats sudden, did she say why? Cos I havent been there since I was like 5 or something Mom: no, she didnt Me: ok I got our bags and said goodbye took mosa and we went out Got in the car and went back to my hubbs place Me: my gran wants me to visit her Lee-roy: when? Me: as soon as possible Lee-roy: no ways, your not going anywhere we havent had time to ourselves and already you wanna pack up and leave just like that? Me: pleeeaaassee! Lee-roy: ok but Im coming with you Me:yeeeppyy!!! Tomorrow then Lee-roy: pack my bag you know what Ill need I kissed his cheek and went to the bedroom packed his things and did a lil bit of laundry Grace had gone home for the holidays How I miss her, Im not a domestic person but my man has to be clean I then cooked and served Lee-roy fed mosa then we ate I washed the dishes mopped the floor then went to bed The next day we woke up lee-roy and I bathed together then I bathed mosa we had breakfast then we hit the road Me: got the directions? Lee-roy:navigator Me: ok We drove for an hour and a half he stopped @ midrand and bought a few groceries, he also bought us lunch and snacks we got back to the road Lee-roy: how far is your home town? Me: bela bela is not that far Lee-roy: the heat is too much and we not there already Me: stop complaining We drove for about 2hours and 30minutes We arrived in bela bela My gran was sitting out side the house facing the drive way Ok let me describe my home town Its a small village, gravel roads my gran was a well known farmer in her yard there were different kinds of veggies, carrots,cabbage,spinach,tomato, beans the works There were also live stock Goats,cattle, sheep,chickens she also had donkeys and mules too The house was a 7room with zinc roofing Painted green Flowers greeting you from the main gate along the drive way till to the house The heat was too much mosas cheeks had turned red and so was lee-roys I opened the gate and lee-roy drove in I followed by foot My granny saw me walking on the drive way, she got up She mustve noticed me I thought She quickly went into the house closed the door and locked it Me: and now??!! Lee-roy parked the car and got out picked mosa and walked towards me Me: my gran just ran into the house Lee-roy laughed Me: behave! Lee-roy: she probably doesnt know you I knocked on the front door she didnt reply I went to the back door knocked a few times she still didnt open I went back to the front door knocked Me: koko!(Granny) its me tshego Please open After a few seconds she opened Looked at me for a while Gran: tshegofatso? Me: yes gran its me She came closer and hugged me Gran:I thought you were one of the female police who had been harrassing my neighbours Me: no gran! Gran: who are these people you came with? Le pakistan le lona? ( What about him) is he selling blankets? Me: lol no, this is lee-roy my husband and mosa my daughter Gran: hao! Tshego! Where did you get him? Me: he was tumis friend they went to the same school together Gran: you said shes your child? Me: yes gran Gran: your child looks like an indian I laughed so hard I couldnt stop laughing!
