//66 Things Ive learned Youre gonna need some of it, believe me. 1.) Praying is still important - Okay, so you graduated. Yaay! Congratulations, di ka na magdadasal 30 minutes every morning ng nakatayo!!! Well, its actually very good if you still pray and ask for Gods guidance every morning before you leave the house manlang. Its still really important, FYI. SMA did a really good job of making it a habit for us to pray every day kasi until now, in my school they still ring bells for the 12:00 Prayer, the 3:00 Prayer, we still pray before classes and, nakakahiya naman kung, galing ka ng Catholic school tapos hindi mo alam ang proper way ng pagdasal diba... So, head up high. char. hahaha! 2.) Homework - when I was in high school, Im gonna be completely honest with you, I barely do my homework. Like, if we had homework due the next day, before that subject, Im just gonna copy notes from my classmates or whatevs. Siguro habang high school ka pwede pa kapag tinatamad ka talaga or if you still have other things to do... Pero kapag college ka na, hindi na pwede kasi you have to learn from your research or sketches eh. Your classmates are gonna think youre stupid and lazy, and believe me, it will always reflect your grade. Lalo na ko, I thought being an Art student is gonna be petiks kasi, drawing drawing lang naman, pero truth is, kami pinaka hirap na faculty/college sa buong University. Kami lagi walang tulog, walang pahinga.. So, na-realize ko din na, if you were given an assignment, wag mo i-asa sa iba kasi, they worked hard for it. What would you feel if, the whole sem you studied so hard tapos this person na nangongopya lang at nagpapagawa mas mataas pa grade sayo? Ang unfair di ba? tsaka, wouldnt you feel like an idiot pag lagi ka nalang kumukopya? 3. Being a Senior - Mas masarap pag college ka na. Siguro, sa first week macu-culture shock ka, minsan baka mahirapan kang mag-adjust, believe me, college will make you wanna die! Lalo na pag finals. Pero despite those crap, youll get to know more people, experience new things, go to different places with your blockmates etc. Ive lost a lot of things, experienced a lot of crap, but It made me a better person. Make the most out of it! After all, YOLO. (still struggling) 4.) Love - I know, falling in love is so good! but Im not here to talk about the main crap. Im gonna say it straight girls, if youre gonna tear your wall, choose someone worthy, not someone wholl make you a whore by 20. Im not saying to wait til youre married though, thats how it really should be.. Im not a saint, Ive done a lot already, but that doesnt mean you should too. Whatever your beliefs are, if youre gonna do it, use your head. No, I dont believe in accidents because theres always plan B. And believe me, you dont wanna hit rock bottom. Anyways, I think its really good that former students created this group to share insights and memories they had at SMASN. Good Job, guys. -PNDA 13
