#6951 This is for those stereotypical young people who blindly follow the western culture-without even proper knowledge. And most unacceptably show disrespect to Assamese culture too. A few days back I came across a bunch of assholes in a train. They were like Ba**r oxomiya gan, xune neki kunbai, eibur Bhupen Hazarika, Bishnu Rabha dhui And then one one them was claiming to be a metalhead and then when he spoke out I directly realized how big a fake metalhead he was. That poser was referring to 1 Direction as a metal band and Miley Cyrus and Justin Beiber as rockers! Myself being a metalhead, I felt like killing them after hearing these bullshits.They neither had proper idea of the genre they were into nor any respect for the culture of their motherland. Yes you are free to listen to any genre and any artist. But who gave you the right to insult legends of our state and our culture. Ive been listening to metal and rock since I was 13 and I follow around 500 major and minor bands in total. But that does not mean Ill disrespect Assamese sentiments. And these people who do even have proper idea about the genre they follow, dare to slam their own culture! Unfortunately such lame asses are all around! These fake posers are the ones who bring a bad name to the metal community, though the real fact is they do not even belong to the metal community; they are just a bunch of blind trend followers! To all such people and also to people following other genres, please learn to respect your own culture first and stop being a jerk! And yes no matter what genre youre into gain proper knowledge of the genre first! jai aai axom :)
