#834 "I recently completed my MBBS.. In MBBS due to reservations i had to pay 2 lakhs per year every year to get admission. I studied well during my MBBS and was a Topper. I wrote PG entravce exam and got a good rank. Only 20% of seats in Andhra Pradesh are reserved for OC candidates. 50% are for reservations and 30% for in service candidates. During counseling if a reserved category student opts a seat in open category, and if he leaves that seat in second counseling -- the vacancy created by him will be filled by the candidate of same category. Open category people are being given only 20% of the seats kept for counseling. Among those 20% also we are losing some seats as they are blocked by reserved candiadates in the first counseling and are cancelled by them in the second counseling and those cancelled ones are realloted to the reserved candidates. acoording to this OC candiadte is getting LESS THAN 20% OF THE SEATS AND THE RESERVED CANDIDATES ARE GETTING MORE THAN THEIR ALLOTED PERCENTAGES. MEDICAL FIELD IS A PROFESSION TO SAVE LIVES OF PEOPLE. IF THIS IS THE CASE QUALITY DOCTORS CANNOT BE PRODUCED.. HOW TO CHANGE THIS ?? PLEASE SUGGEST ME OC ORPHAN"
