Her:I can tell. Well Im happy for you. I know dad is turning in his grave since you guys didnt move on without each other. Me:uyandikhathaza utata mna but then I believe umntu oswelekile akadibani tu nathi so I dont know what he could possibly want me to do. Her:sumhoya mtasekhaya. She kissed my cheek then walked out. I got my things ready and went for my meeting which took about an hour. After that I went back to the office until it was my lunch time. Mandla sent me a text, telling me where we should meet up for lunch. I took my handbag and car keys, ndaphuma. I got to the venue and went in, ndahlala naye. Me:hey. Him: Phariza yam. Usharp? Me:Im good Mandla. Unjan wena? Him:andikho sharp maan. Me:lets order so youll tell me whats bothering you. He called the waiter, our order was taken. Me:so whats bothering you. Him:Babalwa. I strutted out, ndangena emotweni and drove to work... Four weeks later, the schools closed for June holidays already. I wasnt getting leave this time around and I was glad. I did lanto ndiycelwe nguMandla and he unfortunately lost the baby. He hated himself for it, the situation left him without a girlfriend aswell. Thats just life hey. Anyway, Luyolo had informed his family ukba ubuyile, Zukie was overwhelmed while his dad thought he was out too soon and he hadnt served his time kakuhle. Oh well! After work that Wednesday, I went to Greenacres mall. I just wanted to get a few goodies for my kids. I got everything I wanted, paid and then went home. Luyolos car was parked in the garage so that meant he was around. I took my things and went in. Luyolo and Lwethu were in the kitchen wearing white Aprons. Me:molweni. I kissed them. Lwethu:hey mama. Luyolo:hey babe. Me:what are you guys cooking? Lwethu:your favourite. Go upstairs and change. Me:0kay my angel. I put the plastic on the counter and went upstairs to bath and change. At 7pm we were all seated around the dinner table and eating. After taking a few spoons, I felt like throwing up. Me:excuse me. I ran to the bathroom and puked. Luyolo came in. Him:are you okay? Me:yeah. Just a stupid nausea, ndiright kodwa. Him:should I call a doctor? Me:dont start baby. It must be a tummy bug. Ill be okay. He smiled then bent down to kiss my stomach. Him:jonga tummy bug, sugulisa iSweetcakes zam kalok. Me:hayi Luyolo suphambana. Phakama. He got up and kissed my lips then looked at me deep in my eyes, wancuma, olwancumo lwakhe that made his dimples visibly show....
