(9 photos total) Elvis Presley often rented homes in California during his movie-making era in the 1960s, so there are several properties to consider. This one, at 845 West Chino Canyon, Palm Springs, was a house he actually bought. He owned this home from 1970 until his death in 77, and it was later sold by his estate and bought by Frankie Valli. It has been used for tours in recent years, and is currently up for sale following foreclosure, last I heard. It was often referred to as Graceland West, and was the site of a lot of hard partying, especially after his marriage broke up. He spent his last birthday here in January 1977, and visited at least once between tours in 1977. I have found no photos of Elvis inside the house, as it was very much his bachelor pad, rather than a family home, even while married to Priscilla. It was his boys club, and the wives werent generally invited. The last photo may or may not be from the period in which he owned the house: I think not, but at least its furnished there, so you get a better idea.
