#99Rise #M4D From our friend, Lawrence Abbott: Why would you be surprised that the revolution is in process at this moment in Sacramento? We have been working so hard for this moment. I only have a second for a quick summery. In short, the strategy of 99rise.org has been hugely successful. We lobby during the day, and occupy at night. We have won on every bill and committee hearing. We sing and speak our truths every evening after the capitol closes, under the dome in the peoples house, until the moment of our personal choice arrives; to be arrested or leave in solidarity to occupy the sidewalk! We live stream everything we can. Our legitimate state leaders are visit us in support, and have been acknowledging the crisis of corruption of money in politics and government! Our bodies are often suffering but our spirits are strong. The Sac. community now knows us, and their support is joyous. You must come to witness and be part of this effort. Come any time to the corner of L St, and 10th. Come at 5:30pm to sit in, sing, and speak. Come and risk arrest if you are arrest-able. (No worries if not) Come to bring food, drink, shuttle service, or cash. Come to lobby your rep. Come for democracy. Come to save a dying planet. Come for love, and to be inspired. Come for a few hours, or a few days.
