Kashmir News: Studends Of Valley Out Against Israeli Terror............. >> Hundreds of students on Monday walked hand in hand to register their vociferous protest against Israel’s pounding on Gaza. Students of various educational institutions of Srinagar pitched slogans in favour of Gaza who were later chased away by police. Pitching slogans like “Down Down Israel”, “Save Gaza”, “Aik Se Badkar Aik Zaleel, America Aur Israel” and “Down with the friends of Israel” etc. Earlier, students assembled at Srinagar’s Press Enclave and pitched vociferous slogans. Later, they marched towards Ganta Ghar despite police tried to stop their march. A couple of students climbed up to the Ganta Ghar and placed a placard on it reading “Down Down Israel”. They raised slogans against Israel and in favour of Gaza. Students then marched towards Amira Kadal, Jehangir Chowk and via Budshah Chowk reached Regal Chowk. Sources said that students of the Women College Srinagar also had scheduled a protest march however they were barred from coming out of the college premises. Reports said the principal Shaheen Altaf ordered students to gather in the playground, where some supplications were made for Gaza people. Meanwhile, police dispersed the protesting students near Regal Chowk by chasing them away.
