...A chance of freezing drizzle and light sleet is possible - TopicsExpress

...A chance of freezing drizzle and light sleet is possible over northern middle Tennessee late tonight and early morning... Rain will taper off over northern areas by late this evening. By the time temperatures cool to the freezing mark tonight...most of the rain will likely have ended. However...there is still a chance that a period of light sleet or patchy freezing drizzle will occur before the precipitation completely ends. The chance of freezing drizzle and light sleet late Sunday night applies to areas generally north of a line extending from Hurricane Mills...in southern Humphreys County...to Dickson...Nashville... Lebanon and Celina. By sunrise Monday morning...temperatures over northern middle Tennessee will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Therefore...if freezing drizzle or light sleet occurs...some slick spots may develop on area roadways... especially along bridges and overpasses. Even though little if any ice accumulation is expected...you should remember that even a thin patch of ice on a bridge or overpass can cause an accident. So...if you plan on traveling across northern middle Tennessee Sunday night...use appropriate caution...and stay tuned to the latest forecast so that you can know the type of weather you will encounter along the way.
