~ A healthy body~ Without physical health, progress is impossible. As long as you enjoy a healthy and active body, you tend not to care and to abuse. But once a disease is introduced into your body, it invades your mind. Therefore, the Energy upon which your whole being operates becomes vulnerable. It is your duty to take good care of your body by eating healthy, fresh and balanced meals. A regular practice of Hatha Yoga should be included in your schedule. The different postures of Yogi Tamby’s Hatha Yoga have numerous benefits. They reinforce your muscles, increase flexibility and make a better blood circulation. All aimed at the elimination of toxins, remove excess fat in the body and increasing your endurance at its optimum level. Herbal tea (Evening) • Soya milk • Fresh or powdered turmeric • 2 cardamom pods • ½ teaspoon black pepper Bring all to a boil in 2 glasses of soya milk for 15 minutes. Fruit: Mixed fruit Recipes: • Stuffed vegetables Take several patole (also known as snake gourd. Or replace by green pepper) and cut into half lengthways. Using a spoon, remove the flesh and discard. Keep the patoles aside. Boil 3 potatoes and 2 carrots till soft. Peel and mash with the back of a fork. Add a little salt and chopped herbs. Fill the patoles with the potato stuffing and press well. In a deep pan, fry the stuffed patoles till soft. Drain and put aside. Meanwhile, make a light tomato based sauce (La daube.) Add cumin, coriander and turmeric powder to sauce. Cook for a few minutes and put in peas, chopped peanut and salt.
