(A song for my Pentecostal friends) This past week I read anti-Columbus Day s articles, and people relating todays Christian with the actions of a 400 year old man. Christians are in no way perfect, but we better be living toward perfection; loving the Lord our God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength and our neighbors as ourselves. Today, its imperative for Christians to abide by the Spirit in complete faith and Love, for complacency is a sin over which God has destroyed nations. If were not living as Christ commanded, then were living how the world dictates. The only difference between a worldly-christian and other sects are titles. We must stand up for Christ in this world, lest the happenings in Houston, Tx. happens to us all. I challenge every Christian to follow Pauls advice to the Ephesian Church and to Timothy, to put on the Full Armor of God and fight the good fight so you can win against the dark forces of this world. The court in Houston, trying to subpoena pastors sermons, is a new battle line from the enemy. Government leaders ignoring the Constitution is another. Thats why its time to stand diligently for our faith, being committed to the salvation of our neighbors, to church, and voting for government leaders who live their faith. In other words, its time to act upon the fact that some things are just worth fighting for. Thats why ... Gods got an army, not afraid to fight Soldiers of the cross and children of the light Warriors of righteousness with healing in their hands Gods got an army marchin through the land Let me hear a war cry. Were a people with ears to hear and hearts to respond To the spiritual needs of the nation Were a showcase of what Hell do when we are strong In Jesus to a whole generation The world wont be the same tomorrow Because were here today The kingdom of hell is gonna feel sorrow Cause our war cry is worship and praise The apostles and prophets are speakin forth The flames of revival they are burnin Like old Joshua were marchin out to possess And theres no way our minds will be turnin Theres joy in the battle so we commence To change this nations course The kingdom of God suffereth violence And the violent take it by force Im a soldier in the army of the Lord Were not afraid to stand and fight We cast out demons left and right Were strong in battle, strong in prayer We tell Satan, Get outta here!
