A tragedy ! . She`s gained my wrath, she`s sent me for a bath!, and I really don`t know why, I said. What`s that for ? . ( As I was going through the door ) I had one in July!. She said. Get in there, have a shave and do your hair and give yourself a scrub, Your last bath day was the 10th of May, - now get into that tub ! . I thought. Oh dear, that`s a flea in me ear, I best do what she said, I`de better get wet else the next thing I get, she`ll chuck me outa me bed ! . So I went in there, ( as brave as you dare ), to do as I was told, But everything went wrinkly, cause the room was flamin cold. I soon ran the water, ( an inch and a quarter ), a little more cooler than hot, I got in there, ( with an inch to spare ), It was then I was on the spot, I was alright with me loofah, I found that with some luck, But the thing that did upset me was, - she`d dumped me rubber duck !. I shouted. Dear, please come in here ! . ( she came in and covered her eyes ), I said. Where`s me duck, you`ve dumped him ! . She said. There`s a big surprise. I dumped that duck in August, he had a puncture and he`d gone flat, So you`ll have to play with your wrinkly toy, and that`s the end of that ! . Well I weren`t in fine fettle, and I really couldn`t settle, I just fiddled with the soap, Such a loss to me was a tragedy, and I really couldn`t cope, To be forced into the bathroom, and then when your out of luck, To tell you,- oh so cruelly, - about your punctured flattened duck !
