#ACA Very early on, all that needed to be done as far as fulltime employment is concerned, is amend and insert clauses that would prevent employers from cutting hours, dropping coverage, and jobs, for the reason of healthcare. It would not have been much different from laws that prevent them from firing due to pregnancy, or race, or disability, in many cases. But both parties, first the Right, let this drag out, because they did not want to cooperate, and again and again said, Let it fail, even though they acknowledged how much We The People were being hurt. And the Left began to allow also, and not fix, even when they had majorities for their own political purposes, as well, and had no care for We The People, soon after in response, either.
