“ALABAMA CAREER CENTER CAN SAVE EMPLOYERS MONEY” Eastern Shore Chamber Eggs N’ Issues Topic DAPHNE, Ala., June 13, 2013 - - The Eastern Shore Chamber Eggs N’ Issues will focus on “The Alabama Career Center’s On-The-Job Training Program” with Hank Lahti of the Alabama Career Center. The breakfast meeting takes place on Tuesday, July 9, 8:30 am at the Daphne United Methodist Church, 2401 Main St., Daphne. Lahti’s presentation will go in-depth on how the Career Center helps employers can receive up to 50 percent reimbursement of trainees’ hourly wages, save on recruiting, screening and training costs, save on paperwork, help underemployed people find gainful employment, and much more.
