*** ALERT** SNOW THEN RAIN THEN SNOW AND VERY COLD *** Below is the latest 18Z GFS computer model run. Snow will begin around noon on Saturday, it will amount to about 1-3 inches before changing to sleet and the rain. 3/4 of an inch of rain is possible Saturday night as temp rise into the 40s overnight. Rain will end Sunday morning. Temps on Sunday will rise to around 50 before a cold front crashes through the area. On Tuesday we will have a clipper, this is a fast moving storm that originates in Canada and moves quickly across our area. It will be very cold while snowing Later Tuesday and Tuesday night, therefore the snow will be a very dry fluffy snow. The storm as I see it now will be another 1-3 with possible 4 inch amounts...This is a very small quick moving storm and a track of 50 miles can change amounts. I will keep you posted...Also pictured is the forecast lows for Thursday morning according to this model. I dont think we will get below zero like this model shows but it will be in the single digits. Todays high was 39. Currently it is 32. Tonight, mostly cloudy, low around 28. Saturday, snow is likely to develop early in the afternoon, high around 35. Saturday night, snow will transition to sleet then to rain, temps will slowly rise above 40.. Sunday, rain will end in the morning, high around 50. Sunday night, mostly cloudy, low around 26. Monday, partly sunny, high around 28. Monday night, partly cloudy, low around 17. Tuesday, becoming cloudy, chance of light snow late in the day, high around 26. Tuesday night, chance of light snow, low around 18. Wednesday, cloudy, chance of flurries, high around 23. Wednesday night, partly cloudy, low around 5. Thursday, partly sunny, high around 17. Thursday night, partly cloudy, low around 13. Friday, mostly cloudy, high around 24.
