#ANOMALY: Misfits In my first year in the university and during my first semester examination something worth sharing happened. I was sitting down so close to my friend and brother Uhiara Daniel during our CHM 101 examination, after the first 30mins my head was going in circles and obviously i was done with the exams. Out of 30 something questions i have answered a little. I looked up to the heavens, there was no answer forth coming. My pal was obviously enjoying his exams, i was tempted to ask, knowing if i do, he will release every. What are friends for right? I stood up, took my script and walked straight to the invigilator. I knew my result will be so awful but staying there and being tempted to ask was out of my dictionary. I went straight to my church then for fellowship, and i tried my best not to think about it or to even pray in church about it. When the result came out, it was exactly what i expected. Someone would have said, heaven helps those who help themself. Or why didnt you just ask? Its not wrong right? Most folks indulge in it already, you will just confess your sins and move on. Its the norm. Anomaly, i knew i was not normal, i knew what is wrong is always wrong eventhough everyone indulge in it. Now what i see lately or even forever, is the abnormal way we celebrate wrong in our society. Corruption and malpractice is now more like oxygen to a living being. Even in primary school leaving certificate examinations we introduce it to our young ones. True and thorough Christianity is about standing out, choose to be just even if you attract haters and vain sayers. Have you asked yourself, what will Christ do, if he was in your shoes? Will He take the bribe? Copy the expo? Write for someone? Sratch the back of a potential employer? Add another zero to the cheque that was given to you? Pay money for you to get a higher grade? And others. I am so proud of what i stand for, are you too? Thats who we are, ANOMALY, MISFITS.
