#ASUU Blues. Hello! Do I have lawyer friends here? I want to know: between ASUU and Federal Government, who can we sue? 1) For every student that have lost their life as a direct and indirect consequence of this damn strike. 2) For damages on the emotional torture that the twists, turns and drama that the ASUU - FG/NEC meetings has put us trough. 3) For damages on the waste of time of those who were on the verge of graduating and heading for NYSC before the strike struck. 3) For damages on the extra rent we are going to have to pay. 4) For the loss of sustenance the rats, cockroaches and other animals cohabiting with students have suffered since the students left. 5) For damages on the depression and the feeling of worthlessness precipitated by the boredom and idleness brought about by this strike. 6) For the loss in business suffered by school runs girls who have had their pretext to travel or go on runs streamlined by the strike. 7) For the loss of business suffered by boys in the absence of opportunity to scam their parents, chyk girls, and indulge in other misdemeanors on campus. 8) For the loss of business by (some) Class-reps. 9) For the depression, anguish and exasperation brought about by the separation of students lovers by the strike. 10) For the temerity and the reckless abandon with which our leaders - who are RESPONSIBLE and should be ACCOUNTABLE to us - play chess with our future and state of mind...... Please add your own offense. And would N100 trillion do in punitive payment? -Alison.
