“Active and Informational!!!!” - 5 stars We found Active Island Tours & Events two (2) days prior to our cruise sailing. I called Brianne who was extremely helpful and accommodated an afternoon Waterfront Historic Tour for us. My wife and I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy running so this would be a great opportunity to see the island of St. Thomas in a unique way. We were met our tour guides (Brianne, Christine and a third female staff member) promptly at Mojo’s and after brief introductions we were on our way for our amazing tour. Christine was very knowledgeable about the rich history of the island and kept on checking to see how we were doing to see if we needed to increase or decrease our pace. What I found to be a great part of this experience was that Brianne had a camera to capture our tour so we did not have to worry about running with a camera. At every point of interest, Christine made sure we highlighted the importance of the historic landmark and our picture was taken. We conquered the infamous “99 Steps” gracefully with Brianne at the top of the steps to capture our victory. As we culminated our tour, Christine invited me for a friendly challenge to sprint to the finish line. I will say Christine still had the energy to sprint to the finish line giving me a “run for my money!” As part of our tour we received very nice running t-shirts, cold bottles of water and a complimentary drink at Mojo’s. Overall, I am very pleased we chose this excursion as we have been on many cruise and by far this is the best one we have truly enjoyed and gotten our monies worth. I highly recommend Active Island Tours & Events as a fun, healthy and interactive to see the island of St. Thomas. Kudos to all the team members at Active Island Tours and Events!!!
