#Alabama #Criminal #Defense #Attorney - A 21-year-old Chilton County man was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty in a fatal stabbing during an argument while watching football together. Richard J. Tyus, of Clanton, appeared for sentencing last week before Autauga County Circuit Judge Sibley Reynolds. Tyus initially was charged with assault for stabbing 28-year-old Brian Bernard Bristow, of Marbury, on Sept. 29, 2013. The attack took place at a home in the 3100 block of Autauga County Road in Verbena. The two men were watching football and got into an argument.
