#Alabama #Criminal #Defense #Attorney - Oxford police say they have arrested a person of interest in connection with the killing of two people at an Oxford motel Friday night. Chief Bill Partridge said in a news release that Jamie Edgar Gomez, 21, of Oxford, has been arrested on charges of tampering with physical evidence and possession of marijuana. Capt. L.G. Owens of Oxford police said Gomez was arrested at 1:39 p.m. Saturday and taken into custody without incident. He is currently being held in the Oxford Detention Facility.
