“Aliens re Comin!” (lyrics – in the talkin blues tradition...with humor) Aliens re comin! Hey, dont frown, theyre comin soon to your home town. Comin in Vimanas, comin as blips, on radar screens in saucer ships. Youll see, before too much time passes, well all be up to our dear, sweet asses in Aliens. My ma ran by, she was all delirious I said to her “Dont be so Sirius They come in colors other than gray Youll see em sometime, any day theyve got big eyeballs, long skinny arms They grow em new on alien farms. Right down there with the broccoli... In cabbage patches... Somewhere on the moon... Cute little sprouts... I dont know, but many say theyre gonna be here any day. Ill tell you, if I had my way Id band em up and teach em to play... guitar... (You seen them fingers?)... the five-string bass... the tambourine... theyd make wild drummers... (But thats just me.) Theyre visitin Giza, a great ole time, an oogling them big Nazca lines. Theyre all out there getting satisfaction at all the alien tourist attractions. Stonehenge... the pyramids... Carnac... Checkin out Roswell... Rockin at the Macchu Picchu Hilton... Ive seen em partyin wild an wacky, dancin with the Anunnaki. Doin hand flips, splits and drops carryin on, they just dont stop. Ill tell ya though if it gets outta hand Youll find me in an alien band. Playin rhythm... Makin tips... Hangin with the short, Gray kids... --Graves 8/9/14 Sequential Glossary: Vimanas: (Plural of Vimana) Ancient flying machines referred to in the Ramayana, one of the two great ancient Hindu epics. the vimana of Ravana, King of Sri Lanka, is described as follows: The Pushpaka Vimana that resembles the Sun...was brought by the powerful Ravana; that aerial and excellent Vimana going everywhere at will ... that chariot resembling a bright cloud in the sky ... and the King [Rama] got in, and the excellent chariot at the command of the Raghira, rose up into the higher atmosphere. It is the first flying vimana mentioned in existing Hindu texts. Their design, function and operation are seen by some as evidence of extraterrestrial intervention in early Indian culture. Sirius: The brightest star in the night sky. In some ancient cultures, Sirius is considered to be the home area of “gods” who traveled to earth to impart knowledge. The Dogon people are an ethnic group in Mali, West Africa, reported to have knowledge that was handed down over generations which would normally be considered impossible for them to obtain without the use of telescopes. Some speculate that their knowledge of the fact that Sirius is a double-star; a fact not discernible with the naked eye and as a result, a fact that they could not possibly have discovered on their own. That, coupled with the use of costumes that bear remarkable resemblance to suits worn by astronauts have lead some to speculate that the Dogons had interaction with extraterrestrials in the distant past. Broccoli: A green vegetable that your mother probably tried to get you to eat. But you probably already know that one. ;-) Giza: Giza, Egypt – Location of the great pyramids, the Valley of Kings, and other structures for which mainstream archeology has found insufficient explanation. ...Its a long story. Nazca lines: (Ref. Nazca, Peru) – Google it. This refers to ancient pictures drawn on a high plateau in Nazca, Peru that are so gigantic that they can only be viewed in their entirety from very, very high in the sky; raising the question of who drew them and who were they drawing them for? Stonehenge: A prehistoric construction in England. Built between 3000BC and 2000BC. Really big, really heavy stones. Set up in ways that many people say that a hunter-gatherer society at that time should not have been able to do. The pyramids: Though there are many remarkable pyramids on the planet in both hemispheres, the pyramids that I was referring to here, are the Great Pyramids at Giza. Carnac: Carnac, France the site of an array of nearly 3,000 massive stones, erected in straight lines sometime between 4000BC to 3000BC. Unusual, because – according to many authorities - a culture just coming out of the stone age would not have been capable of nor organized to the degree that they could have created this monument. Roswell, New Mexico: Site of a UFO crash in 1947. After being reported in a local newspaper, the crash was the subject of an alleged, subsequent, massive cover-up by the US Government. Machu Picchu: Famous city built by the Incas, high in the Andes. Anunnaki: The Anunnaki are ancient Mesopotamian deities whose name means – according to some - those who from the heavens came to earth, and as such are suspected of being extraterrestrials. Grays: also referred to as “Greys” and Roswell Greys. The origin of the idea of the “Gray” is commonly associated with he Betty and Barney Hill abduction claim which took place in 1961. The Gray aliens are also famous from the Roswell UFO incident which took place in 1947. NOTE: I am currently working on a project to get all of the images that I have used with poetry postings properly purchased and licensed. This project will take a while for me to complete and will be costly, but I am determined to get this thing set up so that it is done right. In the meantime, so that postings are not halted while I am diligently pursuing the owners of the images that I have found scattered across the internet; I will continue to post existing pieces with images as they have been posted to this point, crediting the owners when I know them and continuing to search for them when I do not. I make no money off of these postings but post for the love of the poetic muse and so that I may communicate with you in this form. I have always appreciated your support and your continuing encouragement. You have both my appreciation, and my heartfelt thanks for this. :-)
