“All of Sicily is a dimension of the imagination.” (Leonardo Sciascia) After 36 years, I finally return to Sicily, my paternal land. I am holding an astroshamanic workshop in Sciacca, Italy, titled Tools and Talents of Light (see: https://facebook/events/709990195750786/) My father was from Francavilla di Sicilia, in the province of Messina, located in the valley of the River Alcantara, near Taormina, which I would visit every summer when I was a child. I return after 36 years, three cycles of 12 years. 12 represents a complete life cycle and a Jupiters cycle, while 3 refers to the three worlds (low, middle and high), allowing the life cycle to be multidimensional and beyond duality. Jupiters function is to pave the way of expansion and the quest for truth, allowing us to discover our authentic talents, experiencing the highest fulfillment and joy for ourselves and others. Jupiter thrives through travelling, connecting with other cultures and people, moving beyond any confinement and conditioning. Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, is a bridge between Europe and North Africa, blending Norman, Roman, Greek and Arabic cultures. Sicilian landscape is both dramatic and mysterious, harsh and graceful, similar to the character of Sicilians. “And anyone who has once known this land can never be quite free from the nostalgia for it.” (D.H.
