Almost Home As some of you might of read on the previous statuses you should be aware of Tia being allowed out of hospital for a few hours. Today we decided to take her to the local beach for a walk and to get a bit of fresh air as she has been in the hospital for about 8 weeks now. The journey in the car was really exciting for her as she was bouncing up and down with excitement and dancing to her own playlist. Some people thought we were having a party in the car when we stopped at the traffic lights especially seeing Tia bobbing her head up and down to the music. Her personal choice of music is certainly different to the average child and its amazing how quick a child can master a iPad or a iPhone. The doctors are really happy with her progress and everything seems to be going to plan now which is good news. The next stage is for us all to move into a halfway house close to the hospital but we do hear that they are full and there is a few other parents waiting to go into them before ourselves. I did discus with the doctor about ourselves being allowed to go straight home as we do have a close relationship with Orchard Services and Birmingham Childrens hospital along with Tias immunologist from Heartlands Hospital and Im sure they would assist us if anything was to occur and mummy is also fully trained on Tias medication. Im not sure if we will be but it was something I did mention. So maybe we might go home instead of the halfway house. Everyone here seems to be doing well which is good to hear as it was quite stressful for many of us at first. The picture below are of Tia at the seaside and it was a brilliant time. I do have a video of her dancing in the car and I will post it on here later. Tia did keep saying swing please please swing as she wanted to play on the park but this is not allowed and a bit upsetting telling her that she cant. But soon she will be able to.
