*****Amarillo Traffic Update***** TxDOT crews across the Texas panhandle took advantage of warmer weather today and were able to clear most area roadways by late this afternoon. There are still some pockets of areas that are still being worked on at this hour. Crews will continue to work through the night patrolling and working on areas that need further attention, especially ramps, bridges and overpasses. Motorists should be aware of the possibility of refreeze overnight tonight and travel with caution. Its difficult to see areas of ice and snow pack, especially at night, so please slow down and rive for the conditions tonight and tomorrow morning.
