“An ordinary moment made possible by an extraordinary medical breakthrough.” This slogan can been seen throughout the University of Minnesota’s hospital beneath photographs that capture everyday moments in peoples lives that were made possible by some medical advancement that has taken place there. I read this slogan daily as I walked the halls of the hospital, all the while hoping and praying this would someday hold true for Charlie. That someday has come true and we have been continually blessed recently with so many “ordinary” moments. This weekend we got to spend time with family, attend the Primrose fall fundraiser, go to two of Carter’s soccer games, carve pumpkins with friends and even made time for a family movie last night. Life seems too good to be true. We will be forever grateful to all of the physicians and medical support staff here in Omaha, at the Mayo Clinic and at the University of Minnesota for making these ordinary moments possible for our family. #celebratetheordinarymoments #happymonday
