“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it...” (Genesis 1: 28). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When God blessed man, He instructed man to be fruitful and multiply. God instructed man to walk in fruitfulness. Fruitfulness is about yielding results. So God commanded man to yield results. Fruitfulness was God’s expectation from man; fruitfulness was the only way for man to justify his existence. Fruitfulness was the rule; fruitfulness was the only alternative. Friend, be fruitful! God expects you to be fruitful; God expects you to yield results; God expects you to be productive; God expects you to bring forth evidence in all you do; God expects your efforts to bring results. God expects you to be fruitful as you spend your time; God expects fruitfulness in your discussions; God expects you to be fruitful in your career, business, ministry, academics, family, etc. If you are involved in anything that is not yielding results, command it to start yielding results. If any part of your life is not fruitful, work on it and make it fruitful. Work on your skills and abilities and make them more fruitful; work on your relationships and make them more and more fruitful. Let your life be a testimony of unending fruitfulness. Whatever you do, make sure you have results to show for your time and efforts. Stop giving excuses and start yielding results; start being fruitful and productive; leave the stamp of fruitfulness and productivity on all your activities. Let fruitfulness be the attraction whenever you take action. Remember, fruitfulness is God’s expectation from you; fruitfulness is your only option.
