“And God said, Let us make man in our image...” -(Genesis 1: 26) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When God created man, He made man in His own image and appointed man to rule over the entire universe. In photography, one factor that contributes to a good image, is the camera resolution. A high quality camera will produce a high quality image, and vice versa. So, in becoming God’s image, quality is key. Friend, you may never walk in the realms of dominion until your life begins to speak of quality. Your quality begins with the quality of your walk with God; and if your walk with God lacks quality, you may not live like one who is made in God’s image. If you cannot spend quality time with God, you may not become a good version of His image, and you may not fulfill purpose. The quality of your life can also be discerned from the values that define you. God says, get it right with your values and virtues; if your life lacks positive virtues, you may not enjoy the dominion that God has already destined for you; if your life lacks positive virtues like patience, persistence, purity, honesty, decorum, goodness, self-control, etc, you may never step into the realm of dominion. What is the quality of your walk with God? What is the quality of your prayer time? What is the quality of your character, behaviour and virtues? If your life lacks quality, then God may not bother to put His own qualities on you; if your life is devoid of quality, you may not radiate the fullness of God’s glory and splendor. Divine deposits and divine dominion are for people who have the right quality to receive what God has to offer. Increase the quality of your inner man, increase the quality of your person and character, increase in quality on all sides, and God will empower you to walk in dominion.
