...And just a quick update on the baby bunnies in our wildflower garden~ the raising and lowering of the fence seems to have been successful so far. The wee ones have their eyes open and their ears up, which I understand is a good sign theyre nearing ready to head out on their own. One big surprise we discovered recently~ there were actually TWO nests, about two feet apart with a total of six babies. Im not certain if theyre all from the same mother or two different ones, but whatever is the case, its a treat to watch them wiggling their tiny noses and working their way around the flowers. They even hop! Now, I cannot guarantee Ill enjoy them as much when theyre feeding on my garden next year~ but something tells me I will.
