“And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.” -(Joshua 6: 4) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. In our Focal Scripture, God commanded the priests to walk in front of the Ark with ram’s horns. In Old Testament times, a ram’s horn was a trumpet of Jubilee. It was an instrument of jubilation and celebration; the sound of the shofar was indicative of freedom. Friend, God says, in 2015, you shall have multiple celebrations. The noise of jubilee shall be heard in your dwellings; you will have multiple reasons to celebrate, and those around you will have no option but to celebrate with you. Every day, week and month of 2015, God will give you fresh reasons to celebrate. Whatever brought you to tears in the past shall bring you celebrations. The walls of Jericho were yet to fall when the priests used ram’s horns to make the noise of jubilee. The sound of jubilee and celebration was heard before the walls fell. God says, start celebrating and your celebrations will manifest. Do some prophetic celebrations for the miracles that are yet to manifest; celebrate the breakthroughs, favours, open doors, etc that will come your way in 2015; celebrate the unseen works of God in your life; celebrate the unsolicited miracles that will come in 2015. No real celebration is done quietly. Celebrations come with noise. As you celebrate, do it with your ‘shofar’. Make some noise to God; make some noise in your neighbourhood, office, traffic, etc. As you do some prophetic celebrations, the noise of jubilee and celebration shall never depart from your dwelling.
