#Anecdote I work in a place where patients come, patients go. Our period of contact usually doesnt last longer. Its busy. Its hectic. As a department, we see the acutely sick cases and statistically, the most number of sudden deaths as well. And so at times, it has the capacity to tear one apart. But what keeps us going, is that patient who thanks us before leaving; the lives we do manage to save (quite a humbling experience, I must say); and the people who get back months later and remember us! No degree/award can compare to this... Nothing else is more gratifying... #LoveWhatWeDo Happy Doctors Day!
