#Anjaan - The movie which was promoted more than TableMate, Chennai Amritha and Ervamatin in recent times but all the publicity stunts gone in vain. Surya with a new stylish getup justifies his character. Good acting and stunts. The character differentiation of Raju Bhai and Krishna is executed by Surya very well. Samantha is coming just for songs and has nothing more to do. Too much of glamour and unwanted Bikini sequence degrades her. Soori scores at some places but Brammanandham fails big time and there is no rib tickling laughters on the whole. Yuvan already gave only average songs but impresses much and scores with BGM. Lot of repetition in background score. Little disappointment. The only plus in Anjaans technical side is Santhosh Sivan and his stunning visuals of Mumbai backdrop and the color tone in songs and stunt sequences are a visual treat. Vidyut and other Mumbai actors did their part in a satisfying manner but the lip sync is pathetic and youll feel like watching a dubbed movie. Lingusamy, being the captain of the ship himself made it to sink. He is the sole responsible for the very poor screenplay which has no grip at all. Predictable twists. He wasted all the top talents. Average first half and a terrible second half with worst ever twist in climax. If you are impatient in nature, youll surely walk out of the theatre even before watching the climax. A very boring movie overall and it is strictly for die hard Surya fans. Verdict: அஞ்சான் - பிஞ்சான் A dish with best ingredients but cooked by a worst Chef! 1.75/5
