#AntiR Reservation is undoubtedly a requirement and its importance is not being denied but let us be a little proportional and not include reservation in specialized fields of studies such as Medicine, Law, PhD courses and post graduate courses, because peoples lives depend on these professionals and face it when u need a doctor or a lawyer or a teacher, u would want the best person with a commendable resume, not someone who has scraped through the educational system ridding on his caste name. Lets have reserved seats for the first generation students from every family and then lets hope that he/she shall be able enough to raise the next generation to be equally competent for competition, let us reserve seats for those who cannot afford fancy fees. It is important to maintain a proportionality as well, if the qualifying marks for general category is 80 out of 100, let it be at least 75 for the reserved and not 20, lets not make them feel lower by insulting their merits and questioning their capabilities. And yes! Let the certificates of reserved candidates mention the fact that they got through only because of reservation, that would only be fair in future when a client or buyer of services approaches them, they should not be cheated with an illusion of merit, dont you agree my learned friend?
