~Anyone want a Pop?~ Ever wonder why they used to call soft drinks Pop or Soda Pop? Well here ya go. The bottles back in the day had a little marble stuck tightly in the opening until you pushed the marble down into the bottle in order to reach the soda inside. When youd push the marble down it would make a resounding Pop sound! The bottles were so cleverly designed so the marble would never interfere with the soda coming out. Not sure if you can tell by the close up, but you can see the little marble and where it rests inside its handy little trough place. Pretty neat, huh? :)
