‘As-Salaamu Alaikum, Wa Rahmatullahi, Wa Barkatahu’… Bismillahirrahmanirrahim============== Hadiths (English): -------------------- Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him):-------- The Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) said - This day (Friday) IS AN EID which Allah has ordained for the Muslims. Whoever comes to Friday (prayer), let him take a bath and if he has perfume then let him put some on and upon you (I urge to use) is the tooth stick .” [Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 1, Book 5, Hadith 1098-Hasan] -It was narrated that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that two Eid came together at the time of the Messenger of Allah, Mohammed (peace be upon him), so he led the people in prayer, then he said - “Whoever wishes to come to Friday (prayer), let him come, and whoever wishes to stay behind, let him stay behind.’” [Sunan Ibn Majah , Vol. 1, Book 5, Hadith 1312-Hasan] Ahadith (Roman-Urdu):----------------------------- Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah Mohammed (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne farmaya - Ye din (Jumaa ) EID KA DIN hai jo Allah ne musalmano ko ata farmaya hai, isliye jo jumay ke liye aaye to ghusal kar le aur khushbu mil jaye to laga le aur tum par miswak bhi hai”. [Sunan ibn Majah, Vol 1, 1098-Hasan] -Ibn Umar (radi Allahu anhu) se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah Mohammed (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ke zamaney mein dono Eidein ek hi din aa gayee (ek to eid aur dusra Jumaa) to aapney eid ki namaz ada karkey farmaya jo jumaa ki namaz ke liye aana chahey aa jaye aur jo na aana chahe na aaye”. [Sunan ibn Majah, Vol 1, 1312-Hasan]
