.As some of you might have read the comments made on December 23, 2014 about our furry kid, Samantha being sick. The Vet’s Diagnosis was Chronic Active Hepatitis….Chronic active hepatitis is and inflammatory disease of the liver common in small to medium breed dogs. The Vet said that her liver count was 2000, 20 times more than the usual count which should be between 150 and 200. The Vet also asked about her food and treats. When we told her we were only feeding our furry kids Chicken Jerky, USA made, she told us that any kind of Chicken Jerky bought in stores isn’t good because of the chemicals to preserve the treats and the salt intake. So Kathy and I bought a Food Dehydrator in order to make their chicken treats at home. We have also used it to make our own beef jerfy.. It works great. We don’t put any seasoning on the chicken but we do on the beef because that’s for us. Our furry kids love these homemade treats. Ya gotta try this out folks. It’s great.
