Just sayn... I honor of Pete Seeger passing 1/27/2014. Buffo Mr. Blumenauer, Enough is enough. If the Republicans continue to insist on block legislation that protects those who at the least able to exist in our society. Then maybe its time to add a line item that states, if they vote against safety nets they must be willing live there lives by example. If they feel that the average person can live on average food stamp allotment of the state the represent, the so should they. As in State/Territory of Alabama, 2009 $119.14, 2010 $126.90, 2011 $135.18. They should be willing to live on $135.18 a month for their food allotment. If they are not willing to walk-the-walk, then it should be obvious to ALL tax payers regardless of their party affiliation, that they are ALL talk. Enough with this partisan politics! Enough with this obstructionism, enough already. Food stamp recipients have an awful time surviving as it is, and a backroom deal that cuts another $8 billion out of food stamps is unacceptable. Do not support any Farm Bill that includes any cuts to food stamps. Do not support ANY bill that cuts food stamps at all.
