August 24 2014 Wind Southeast 10 Knots Temperature 85 Degrees The streak continues. Again just a grinder bite with just a few flurries here and there. The muttons eluded us. The conditions killed us. The gulfstream is close too. Exerting her presence. Add it all together and it makes for a tense wheelhouse. Plus it is getting old. Bad fishing never lasts, either does good fishing. I know that better than anyone. However we need a change to shake things up. Stagnant is the word that comes to mind. Lets hope it happens this week. Again another incredibly busy week. Two Pulley Ridge trips, one charter and a open boat. Weather looks spectacular, hopefully we can find our anglers some dinner. We have spots on the weekend trip. Just a couple, please click here. thundertix/buy/showsection.php?x=4e26adefce2f12995fb9689f761f3ecd§ion=447&eid=8308 Also I have a special trip for September 3-4. I have assemble a group and a vessel that wants to head past Pulley Ridge and go to Howells Hook. This trip will focus on quality not quantity. If your looking to fill the cooler this trip is not for you. Quality will be the name of the game. Of particular interest will be catching a queen snapper over 27 pounds. I have no doubt it is a doable catch. If your interested in the particulars please e mail me at greg@yankeecapts. Thanks for looking. More later. Greg
