#AustrianGP at #RedBullRing (Former A1) after 10 years and it turned out boring instead of interesting after the Qualifying as assumed it would be. There was no accident in T1, T2 and T8. Nico Rosberg clinched another podium and his third victory in this season, both Mercedes drivers suffered with the brakes in back to back races, plus point is none had to retire today. Nico Rosberg did a solid start chasing Williams pole sitter Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas in a long run till first pit stop. Lewis Hamilton had a better start which brought him to the podium from P9. Williams driver did well through the race but lost their momentum and lost places and only Valtteri Bottus could finish in the podium for the first time. Felipe Massa just missed the podium for his strategy error in the end. Fernando Alonso started losing his pace from the beginning but at a moment he started leading the race for few laps when others went to their second pit stop and he only managed to finish in P5. Kimi Raikkonen as usual had another bad race finishing in P10 struggling with the car, none of the Scuderia Ferrari drivers are happy about it or they might be because their car is not point worthy and they managed to score points somehow. Sergio Perez led the race for couple of laps because of his late first pit stop and finished in P6. Daniel Ricciardo could not do well but lucky to finish the race with mechanical issue with the ERS, Drivetrain issue first occurred with Sebastian Vettel and in Lap 2 he almost had to retire but magically found the solution himself and carried away the race but retired later in the race. Daniil Kvyat retired after his right rear Suspension damaged in Lap 24. Sebastian Vettel retired due to Drivetrain issue in Lap 34 and Jean-Eric Vergne retired for Brake issue in Lap 59. Esteban Gutierrez served 5 second stop go penalty for unsafe release in Lap 13.
