Two suicide attacks on her rally resulted in some 200 casualties and hundreds injured. But Bhutto survived, only to die two months later in another terrorist attack. Now, 7 years later her son tries to restore the reputation of Pakistan Peoples Party. Today massive crowds of people have turned out in Karachi surpassing the figures of participants in any of PTIs rallies. Bhutto legacy remains alive in Pakistan. Benazir Bhutto had famously said: Democracy is the best revenge. Hopefully, one day democracy in Pakistan will become a means to the end of benefiting the people.
