🐾🐾BJERRE READY FOR WOLVES CHALLENGE🐾🐾 LASSE Bjerre is relishing the prospect of riding alongside the biggest star in world speedway. The World Under 21 Finalist is excited about being in the same team as reigning world champion Tai Woffinden at Wolverhampton. Bjerre has been drafted in as part of a double-change that also sees club legend Peter Karlsson return to Monmore Green. And he is delighted to be back in the top-flight after being harshly dropped by Leicester, following only a month with the Lions, earlier in the season. He said: Im really happy to get another chance in the Elite League and I hope I can be successful with Wolverhampton. I just want to prove to everyone that I can ride at that level and also show Leicester the made a mistake to drop me. I dont normally like small tracks, but Wolverhampton is one that I do enjoy racing on. The corners are pretty wide and there is usually plenty of passing there. Im just looking forward to getting started and it will be great experience to ride in a team featuring the world champion Tai Woffinden and a speedway legend like PK. Bjerre will make his Wolves debut live on Sky Sports next Monday (August 4) when Wolverhampton host Poole. The Danish ace has been in terrific form for Peterborough in the Premier League this season. He races for Panthers along with Wolves doubling-up reserve Joe Jacobs.
