* * * * * * * * BOWIE COUNTY IS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE * * * * * * * The recent 36% increase has frustrated Bowie County Citizens and some have said they want or will to move to Arkansas. While we agree that the last four years have been very troubling, there are many opportunities in Bowie Countys future as seen by this TexAmericas Center video. Last month, TexAmericas Center received $12,000,000 from the Department of Defense for cleanup up contaminated areas that once was Lone Star Army Ammunitions Depot. Once these areas are clean, TexAmericas can aggressively pursue businesses to move to our County and bring jobs to the area.
