** BREAKFAST IN BED ** It takes a while for freed slaves to come to terms with their liberty. The same way freed prisoners find it difficult integrating into society and need some kind of orientation. In the real sense, they are free but the way they have been treated in times past, makes it a little hard for them to adjust and adapt to their new freed status. A new born again believer is not suppose to conform to old self but to be transformed into what he has now permanently become. Its a process that takes time. And once old things are passed away and one has become a new creature, the process of transformation must be guided entirely by the mind renewing process; Theres that feeling of uneasiness when one strays into thoughts of servitude as was in the times when one was a slave. The feeling becomes even worse when such enslaved thoughts are put into practice. Your liberty is still intact, but your joy isnt complete because you seem to be at war with yourself. In fact at this stage, what you want to do, you struggle to do, but that, which isnt expected of you, that, you do effortlessly. The devil would try and steal your joy and prevent you from bearing expected fruits. Be on guard. Resist the devil and he will flee. Pray without ceasing, study the Word of God and take your rightful place. Enjoy your freedom. Its paid for in full by the blood of Jesus. May 2015 be a frut-bearing year for you and your family in the name of Jesus. Amen !
