#BRIDALREQUEST! Can you help? We have a bridal request: My partner and I are getting married this summer just down the road from his parents house and my family are having to come quite some way which is not an issue for them in the slightest. They understand this is our wedding day and are being so supportive and helping out with anything they can do (this is my entire friends and family) yet his side of things are dropping the ball at every turn. So far they have cost us £1,134 extra in things they have cancelled or not followed through on when they said it was taken care of. And we still have 5 months to go... Of course this is really upsetting me but its really effecting my H2B badly. He sees my side all loving and excited then looks back on his side and they seem to have no interest what so ever. We have started to talk about gifts for people that have helped etc. to give out in the speeches and neither of us want to waste any more money on key figures on his side that have let us down but we was wondering if we are being a bit childish and should rise above it. Are we going to regret this on the day? Are we still expected to acknowledge them even though they have (it seems like) trampled all over us and not given it a second thought? We both just feel really let down at the moment. Any help would be so welcome! Thanks x x
