"BRIGHTER DAY"... Light is sweet, and it is pleasant for the eyes to see the sun. (Ecclesiastes 11:7) We naturally feel lighter and happier when the sun shines after a lengthy period of gray skies and rain. It is a trill to see the sun break through the clouds. Likewise, our spirits are lifted and our outlook brightens when a new understanding illumines our minds. Perhaps we have prayed for an answer or waited for guidance during a period of confusion or cloudiness. When the answer comes, it is as if the sun has broken through. We awaken to a new day. The way is now clear, and we know what to do. Light is a symbol of wisdom. We are infused with the light of God as we open our minds to a new understanding and a brighter illumination of truth.
