(Bamboozled?) “If a man sells you a diamond ring, for only 10 cents – chances are you have bought a diamond worth only a dime!” How often have you bought into a concept or a proposal based upon the energy of the pitch, rather than the validity of the facts? Slow down. Consider the all possibilities. Ask questions. Paraphrase! Remember, the anguish of living with low quality will far out last the immediate gratification of low price! In my experience, as part of the human condition, we too often make decisions on impulse. It matters not whether it is a based in need or in desire – every choice we make, we must either live through, or live with. What does matter is what we learn from the experience, and what we do with the acquired knowledge. Today I will reflect on recent choices and current results, keeping in mind; there are no endings, only beginnings, middles, and meanings. Today I will remind myself: a quitter never wins, and a winner never quits! Today I will live with the choices I have made, as well as the ‘current’ result. Knowing change is constant and that I am stronger than, and will out-last my ‘current’ circumstance allows me the advantage to steer my life in any direction I choose. If it is to be, it is up to me! lb
